About Me

Paula Plessas-Hall is a movement coach, choreographer, and educator with over two decades of experience in dance and fitness.

Her work is grounded in the belief that true strength is built through motion, shaped by years of teaching, performing, and choreographing in both the Bay Area and New York City. Since 2007, she has taught at City College of San Francisco, guiding students through movement practices that emphasize longevity, expression, and embodied strength.

Paula serves as a certified fitness instructor at Club Evexia offering fitness classes that provide functional strength and athletic performance to her client.

At the heart of Paula’s teaching is a commitment to Strength in Motion—creating approachable, inclusive spaces where all bodies and experience levels are supported in deepening their relationship to movement. She believes that strength, mobility, and expression are developed through thoughtful training, proper technique, patience, and care, balanced with curiosity and joy. This philosophy extends beyond the studio into intimate movement retreats and private transformational coaching, where Paula works one-on-one and in small groups to support lasting, meaningful change.

Strength in Motion

Strength is not static.
It is built through movement, attention, and care.
We train to move well—
with purpose, precision, and presence.
We honor technique as a pathway to freedom,
and strength as a foundation for expression.
This is movement that welcomes all bodies
and meets each person where they are,
while inviting them to go further
than they thought possible.
Strength in Motion is a practice—
cultivated over time,
rooted in curiosity,
and expressed with clarity, confidence, and ease.
