Zumba

Get ready to find your hips! Paula’s Zumba class invites students to shake, sway and dance their way across the world.  Paula chooses uplifting world music to get her students moving non-stop with great intention to celebrate all bodies, ages, and levels.  Come with a good attitude and be ready to dance. Zumba is a dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990’s.  Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements that creates an effective fitness system. . Students will learn various dance steps from the dance forms of hip-hop, samba, salsa, merengue, reggaeton, cumbia and mambo.   The Zumba workout mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness.  All movement can be modified for any fitness level.
